Salsa Chainstay Strike Plate (2019+ Salsa Beargrease Carbon V2)

Salsa Chainstay Strike Plate Description:

The Salsa Chainstay Strike Plate is a factory replacement component that can be used to replace a damaged or missing strike plate on a 2019+ Salsa Beargrease V2 fat tire mountain bike. This lightweight alloy plate is designed to fit behind the chainring on the drive-side chainstay, and it will prevent the chain or other impacts from scratching and/or damaging the carbon fiber frame.

Note: This part DOES NOT INCLUDE adhesive tape or glue to attach this to the frame. Salsa recommends 3M’s Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive DP105 -or- 3M VHB 4905 Tape to attach this strike plate to the frame. Clean area of frame thoroughly and wipe any film or residue away with isopropyl alcohol prior to applying any adhesive to the frame or this strike plate.
