The Salsa Warbird C Force AXS Wide was built to capture Salsa’s long-standing foundation in the world of gravel and outfit the elite performance of SRAM’s wireless Force AXS groupset for total gravel dominance. The High Modulus carbon fiber construction of Warbird’s frame is built using Interior Junction Control Molding Technology within the main front triangle of Warbird C frames, allowing for precise control of wall thickness and inner wall smoothness, a step that increases strength in critical zones, ensuring premium quality and an ultimate ride. Warbird represents the latest iteration of Salsa’s industry-leading gravel racing geometry, placing riders in a position that aptly handles all manner of gravel and gravel-adjacent terrain while also drastically reducing fatigue and improving handling. Water bottle storage within the frame allows for the mounting of two water bottle cages, with sizes larger than 56cm receiving an added water bottle storage mount position within the frame. Additional mounting bosses found on the top tube and downtube enable the mounting of additional water bottle cages or direct-mount bags. Warbird C is equipped with a Waxwing carbon fiber fork featuring a 12 x 100mm thru-axle that provides true tracking and flat mount brake compatibility for easy setup. Waxwing forks also add an incredible array of mounting bolts, including three-pack mounts for additional hydration storage or the mounting of various cargo or light accessories. Total gravel fidelity extends into the cockpit thanks to the equipped Salsa Guide Seatpost, stem, and Salsa cowbell handlebars. The SRAM Force AXS Wide drivetrain platform issues a highly adaptive level of shifting, granting riders a 2x chainring that offers clearance enough for contemporary gravel tire widths while maintaining a gear range that will keep every ride and race totally handled, no matter the terrain or level of mud.
