Constructed from high-modulus carbon using Interior Junction Control Mold Technology, Salsa Cutthroat C is formed using internal molds within the front triangle for better compaction between the fibers, delivering precise control of wall thickness and inner-wall smoothness to produce a more durable, better riding, and better performing frame. The rear triangle features Class 5 VRS (Vibration Reduction System) which has the right kind of flex to promote better comfort, while the rear thru-axle and horizontally-oriented chainstays resist twisting for rock solid handling and efficient power transfer. The progressive Cutthroat Geometry combines a mountain bike-inspired 69° head tube angle with a long wheelbase for better stability across more surfaces, while shorter 445mm chainstays express tuck the rear wheel under the rider for great traction and nimbleness. Inspiration from the storied Tour Divide Bikepacking Race finds Cutthroat C frames and forks outfitted with a slew of cargo and hydration mounting options within the main triangle, top tube, downtube, and fork legs, keeping riders well-equipped and hydrated.
