The Salsa Timberjack SLX 29 Hardtail Mountain Bike has the performance and versatility that allows a rider to have a great time on any trail. An aluminum alloy frame utilizes highly manipulated tube sizes and shapes to produce a remarkably lightweight and strong frame, and the rear of this frame has adjustable Alternator 2.0 dropouts and generous tire clearance to make it possible to fine-tune the drivetrain, wheels, and handling of the bike to suit a rider’s needs and preferences. This frame is also adorned with numerous accessory mounts so the bike can carry the gear needed instead of requiring the rider to wear a backpack or hip pack. Up front, a tunable Rock Shox delivers 140mm of trail-calming travel to help keep you in control on technical sections. Timberjack frames feature an Alternator 1.0 configured for SRAM UDH, enabling the use of SRAM direct mount transmission derailleurs, including the long-lasting, reliably accurate shifting of Eagle 70, a 12-speed groupset that offers a wide gearing range and trail-ready durability. Finally, a TranzX dropper seatpost and a stout WTB wheelset shod with grippy 2.5″ wide WTB tubeless-ready tires ensure the rider can maintain optimal control of the bike no matter what the trail is throwing at them.
