Salsa Flyway C DLX Force XPLR AXS Gravel Bike Description:

The Salsa Flyway C DLX Force XPLR AXS Gravel Bike is a versatile, all-purpose gravel bike that can line up on race-day and is capable and durable enough to take on more adventurous rides. Ultra-high modulus carbon fiber is formed using Interior Junction Control Mold Technology to produce a frame that is 150 grams lighter than the regular Flyway carbon frame without any durability compromises. Additionally, this material and construction combo is laterally stiff which provides excellent handling manners and pedaling efficiency, and high frequency vibrations are reduced so a rider will feel fresher and have more energy for the finishing sprint. A long reach, low bottom bracket height, and slacker head tube angle produces great stability, while a steep seat tube angle enables efficient and powerful pedal strokes. Short, symmetrical dropped chainstays tucks the rear wheel under the rider for better traction and more nimble handling while maintaining generous chainring and tire clearance. Rounding out the features on the frame are numerous accessory mounts that are sprinkled all over the frame to allow the rider to carry all of the gear and hydration they need for any length ride.

Up front, the Flyway carbon fiber fork features internal brake hose routing, Salsa Down Under Front Rack compatibility, fender mounts, and a 12 x 100mm thru-axle that eliminates high speed wobbles and improves bike control. A SRAM Force XPLR AXS 1 x 13-speed electronic drivetrain is called upon to provide very precise and lightning quick shifts and to give the rider the right gearing for any situation that they may find themselves in. When it is time to check the speed, SRAM’s Force HRD hydraulic disc brakes and 160mm Paceline rotors deliver quiet and powerful braking. Lightweight Teravail Circos wheels are wrapped in Teravail Updraft 700 x 45mm tires for a reliable, smooth riding, and very fast rolling combo. Completing the build are lightweight Zipp Service Course cockpit components and a comfortable WTB Gravelier saddle, all of which ensures the Salsa Flyway C DLX Force XPLR AXS Gravel Bike is ready for any adventure.
