Fox Suspension 36 SL Factory Series All-Mountain Fork Description:

Fox 36 SL Factory 29″ Forks bundles outstanding descending performance with a lighter weight, shorter travel chassis. Featuring a revamped Grip X damper along with a Float EVOL air spring with GlideCore, riders will gain the ability to set the fork in a firm mode for optimal power transfer and traction when closed and then flip it over to a wide open mode when hitting downhill or rough trail sections. Fox’s super slick Kashima coating, low friction seals, and inboard bypass channels ensure this fork has buttery smooth suspension action and great small bump sensitivity to ensure the rider has exceptional bike control, comfort, and the confidence to hit tough lines on any course.

Features:

• Redesigned super light lowers have more bushing overlap and a wraparound brake arch with cutouts which adds torsional stiffness for precise bike control and handling
• Low friction seals and Kashima Coating on the upper tubes (stanchions) reduces stiction, resulting in silky smooth suspension action throughout the available travel even over rough, off-camber terrain
• GRIP X damper weighs approximately 120 grams lighter than the GRIP X2 damper, and has revamped valving that allows the fork to respond faster to bumps, provides better ride feel, and with less noise
• Firm mode prevents the fork from bobbing and squatting during climbs and sprints so more of the riders energy is used to put power to the pedals
• Float EVOL GlideCore Air Spring with large cross-section O-rings moves with the fork under dynamic load to reduce stiction and produce a much smoother suspension travel
• Increased steerer tube/crown overlap improves durability and stiffness
• Lower leg inboard bypass channels improve small bump sensitivity and reduce friction by moving oil out of the fork’s load path
• Lower leg bleeders allow for atmospheric pressure equalization providing more usable travel and better small bump sensitivity
• Air spring top cap can be removed using a common cassette tool to make it easier to install or remove volume tokens
• Integrated mudguard mount on the backside of the brake arch (mudguard sold separately)
