Crafted with climbing specialists in mind, Zipp 202 NSW road wheels empower riders with a feather-lightweight sub-1100g build that summits fast, descends expertly and provides an aero advantage ideal for racing without a sacrifice of durability. Utilizing the same state-of-the-art carbon layup found previously onboard Zipp 353 NSW rims, 202 NSW employs Biomimetic Laminate, a technique that incorporates mixed-modulus carbon types to maximize stiffness at the spoke bed, and toughness at the tire bed, leaving 202 NSW rims with strength and durability capable of deflecting road impact and maintaining consistent spoke tension under dynamic riding loads. Tire compatibility and performance is enhanced by the implementation of a hookless Tubeless Straight Side (TSS) rim shape, enabling tires and rims to act as a system, leading to a better profile between tire and rim, along with better tire performance with wider tire sizes and lower pressure settings. German-engineered Zipp ZR1 SL hubs with lightweight Alpina Hyperlite spokes laced in a durable 20-hole 2-cross configuration complete this high-performance assembly, with internals including GRW ceramic bearings and 66-points of watt-capturing engagement.
