The Surly Ice Cream Truck Fat Tire Mountain Bike is a trail ready mountain bike with clearance for some incredibly fat tires. At the heart of this bike is Surly’s rugged full chromoly frame and fork that have been tweaked to allow for up to 5.1″ wide tires to clear the frame and fork crown, and these super-sized shoes will allow this bike to fly over mud, ice, snow, sand, and basically whatever else is on the trail. Included touches like the oversized 44mm headtube and thru axles front and rear help add stiffness and handling precision to this bike so you can stay in control no matter what happens. And this bike includes a wide variety of braze-ons and mounts that will allow for all kinds of on bike storage solutions so there is no shortage of versatility with this bike.

As for the running gear, the factory build kit uses Shimano’s SLX M7100 drivetrain for reliability and a wide range of gears to tackle a variety of terrain and weather conditions. Tubeless ready Surly My Other Brother Darryl rims shod with Surly Bud & Lou 26 x 4.8″ tires provide incredible grip and help this bike float over frozen, loose, and/or rough terrain, and when it is time to slow this rig down, hydraulic Tektro Gemini brakes provide ample braking power without stressing the riders hands.
