Salsa Vaya Gravel/Touring Bike Frameset Description:

The Salsa Vaya Frameset contains the foundation for a comfortable and incredibly versatile custom gravel/touring bike build. A triple-butted Sanko Chromoly frame utilizes size specific tube diameters and shaping to create a strong and stable bike with a buttery smooth ride. Paired to this premium steel frame is a lightweight carbon fiber Waxwing fork that will mute road and trail buzz before it gets to the rider while also having the stiffness and strength to ensure the bike is pointed in the right direction at all times. Finally, several waterbottle, fender, rack, and other accessory mounts adorn the frame and fork to ensure this frameset can be outfitted to be able to perform exactly as needed.

Features:

• Geometry optimized for drop handlebars provides stable handling even when the bike is lightly loaded
• Triple-butted chromoly steel frame tubes have thicker tube walls at the welds for strength and then internally tapers to a thinner wall thickness in the middle of the tubes to reduce weight and to produce a comfortable, lively ride
• Carbon fiber Waxwing fork will take the buzz out of road/trail imperfections and features provisions for a front rack for additional cargo carrying capacity
• External full length cable housing routing allows for reduced maintenance and an easier time replacing the cables when needed
• Fender and rack mounts plus spots for 3 water-bottle cages give many options to personalize the setup, making this an ideal bike for light touring, commuting, and many other riding styles
• Frame and fork have clearance for 700c x 45 mm tires or 700c x 38 mm tires when bike is equipped with fenders
