The Salsa Rangefinder Deore 12 29 is a confidence-building hardtail mountain bike platform intended to build a valuable foundation for beginners looking to learn fundamentals on the trail. Rangefinder offers riders a stable off-road geometry that combines a long top tube with a short stem reach and chainstays to provide a stable ride on steep and technical terrain. Front suspension adds an approachable, yet highly beneficial level of shock absorption for all trail activity, and is equipped with a 15 x 110 thru-axle, keeping the front end stiff for more precise handling. Cargo capacity aboard Rangefinder frames permits the placement of bottle cages within, with mounting spaces for additional cages or EXP Series direct mount bags on the top tube or down tube. Stay prepared for whatever your next adventure has to throw at you with the help of the internally routed Tranzx dropper post to stay in a prime position for pedaling or dropped down for the ultimate descent.
