Salsa Heyday! Cues Description:
The Heyday! is Salsa’s most versatile fat bike, designed and engineered to excel in a wide variety of conditions. Heyday! geometry lends confidence to riders of every level in nearly every ride scenario, utilizing short chainstays, a stable head angle, and fork offset to situate riders farther back, increasing stability and handling; a low bottom bracket keeps the center of gravity low, making slow-speed riding, dabbing, and dismounting a quick and easy task. Designed primarily for 26″ wheel diameters, HeyDay! has room enough to handle 80mm wide rims with up to 4.6″ tires, providing massive traction, stability, and flotation for better rolling action on ungroomed snow, or even loose sand. A 100 mm threaded bottom bracket allows a wide range of crank (Q-factor) choices, and keeps knees moving with comfort and control. Go nowhere unprepared with a bevvy of mounting bosses throughout Heyday’s frame and fork, with options within the frame triangle, below the downtube, and on the topside of the top tube, riders always maintain quick access to cargo and hydration, with further three-pack mount options on each fork leg for additional hydration and cargo storage. Alternator 1.0 dropouts allow for short chainstays and easily support single-speed or geared drivetrain options. No matter the length of your journey or description of the conditions ahead, The Salsa Heyday! can do it all.
