The Salsa Beargrease C Cues was built light enough to remain ultimately competitive on groomed snow races, yet highly adaptive for the demanding world of adventure fat biking. Trail-oriented geometry renders Beargrease C stable enough for trail use, with steering that maneuvers expertly in loose conditions and a low bottom bracket that keeps slow-speed maneuvering manageable. Beargrease also strives to maintain a practical Q-Factor for pedaling with a 197mm symmetrical rear end that hosts capable 27.5 x 4.0″ tires while still reserving knee-friendly pedaling for the user. Up front, Bearpaw forks furnish three pack mounts on each fork leg, with an additional set of lowrider mounts capable of holding lowrider front racks for traditional cargo rack storage space. Within Beargrease’s front triangle lies frame mounting options enough for water bottle cages or your choice of frame bag, while the outside of Beargrease frames find both a topside top-tube mount and bottom side down-tube mount for the mounting of additional cages, direct-mount bags, or even popular computer mounting options. Internal sleeved cable routing hides away the appearance of cable and housing for drivetrain, brakes, and dropper posts, and maintains performance through even the most treacherous of conditions. The equipped Cues 1 x 11 drivetrain supplies an apt level of shifting range while maintaining a capable profile that offers clearance for traversing any obstacle the trail sets in your way.
