Redshift Sports Low Flare Top Shelf Drop Handlebar Description:

The Redshift Sports Low Flare Top Shelf Drop Handlebar allows a rider to raise up their handlebar height without resorting to a steeply angled stem or adding an extension/riser on the fork steerer tube. A unique double bar design adds either 50mm or 70mm of height, and when combined with a subtle backsweep these bars will put the rider in a commanding, upright riding position that will reduce strain on the muscles and joints throughout the upper body. As an additional benefit, the subtly flared road bike style drops are now going to be higher off the ground so it will be more comfortable for many people to access the lower part of the handlebar which will provide great stability and control when faced with a bit of technical terrain and provide a more aerodynamic riding position when heading out for a windy bike ride. Last but not least, the Redshift Sports Low Flare Top Shelf Drop Handlebar has more mounting points for lights, electronics, and other handlebar accessories so the rider can carry all the gear they need to take on any cycling adventure.

Features:

• Unique double handlebar construction raises the top portion of the handlebars up by 50 or 70mm (2 or 2.75in) to provide a more upright, relaxed riding position without needing to install a steeply angled stem, using a tall stack of headset spacers, or installing a steerer tube riser/extension
• Drops are also raised so it is easier for a rider to dip into the lower part of these handlebars to improve the stability and control of the bike when riding over technical terrain or to improve the aerodynamic positioning on the bike when tackling a windy bike ride
