Mavic Allroad 1 Disc Wheel Description:

The Mavic Allroad 1 Disc Wheel is an easy to maintain and versatile wheelset. 25mm wide hookless tubeless ready rims add extra air volume for better comfort, reduces damage to a tire’s sidewall caused by sharp impacts, and improves cornering stability when using wider road and gravel bike tires. Those rims also feature a shallow asymmetrical shape which allows the spokes to be tensioned more evenly side to side, which lets the spokes more evenly carry load and results in a stable, very durable wheel. A Mavic Classic centerlock disc hub in the center of the wheel smoothly rolls on double sealed QRM cartridge bearings, and the rear hub uses a dual ratcheting freehub design that engages quickly so a rider can power up climbs and over trail obstacles. Finally, the steel J-Bend spokes that tie the hub to the rim have a good balance between compliance and stiffness, and should a spoke unfortunately break, a replacement spoke can be found at a local bike shop and quickly installed so there is minimal downtime between bike rides.
