The Jagwire Basics Shift Cable DIY Kit is a budget friendly shift cable kit that contains the necessary gear to enable the functionality of cable actuated/mechanical style drivetrains. The galvanized steel inner cables fight off rust and corrosion, and have been pre-stretched to reduce the break in time and provide more consistent shifting. The housing has steel reinforcement strands running the length of the housing and has a very slick liner that allows for a proper shifting response, and this housing has enough flexibility that this kit can be used on any frame cable routing path. Finally, this kit includes the inner cable, housing, and the necessary cable ends for a cleaner finished appearance.
