Fox 40 Factory Series DH Suspension Fork Description:

The Fox 40 Factory Series DH Suspension Fork features a robust chassis and revamped internals to deliver incredible handling precision and loads of trail taming travel. A revamped GRIP X2 damper has new valving for increased bump sensitivity and quicker response time, and this damper allows the fork to ride higher in the travel which does a great job of keeping the front wheel glued to the ground when tackling gnarly descents and big hits. Stiff, wrap around and skeletonized lowers with a bunch of bushing overlap, a slick Kashima coating on the stanchions, GlideCore air spring technology, and low friction seals combine to eliminate a sticky feeling fork throughout its travel and improves handling precision. Add in easy tuning of the high-speed and low-speed compression and rebound, the ability to easily adjust the volume tokens, and revised bypass channels, and the latest version of the Fox 40 Factory Series DH Suspension Fork will enable the ability to ride more aggressively and with more control than previously possible.

• Redesigned lowers have a wraparound brake arch with cutouts which adds torsional stiffness for precise bike control and handling
• Revamped valving in the GRIP X2 damper enables smoother and faster fork travel while allowing the fork to sit higher in the travel to deliver uncompromising traction
• Float EVOL GlideCore Air Spring with large cross-section O-rings moves with the fork under dynamic load to reduce stiction and produce a much smoother suspension travel
• Adjustable high/low-speed compression and rebound enable an easier initial setup and on-the-trail tuning
• Low friction seals and Kashima Coating further reduce stiction so the fork maintains a silky smooth experience even over rough, off-camber terrain
• 20 x 110mm floating thru-axle precisely aligns the dropout with the front hub, ensuring proper wheel alignment and improved torsional stiffness that prevents the lowers from twisting and causing unwanted fiction between the upper and lower fork legs
• Lower leg bypass channels improve small bump sensitivity and reduce friction by moving oil out of the fork’s load path, and they have re-positioned to the inside of the legs to keep them out of the way of the bushings
• Bleed buttons provide better pressure equalization resulting in more usable travel and small bump compliance
• Air spring top cap can be removed using a common cassette tool to make it easier to install or remove volume tokens
