DT Swiss Alpine III Spokes Description:

DT Swiss Alpine III spokes use special construction techniques and materials to create a spoke that can withstand the drivetrain torque and weight of heavy bicycles and e-bikes. Highly corrosion resistant 18/10 stainless steel is cold-forged into a triple butted spoke profile that reinforces the spoke elbow and the threaded end which are common failure points in traditional j-bend style spokes, while reducing the thickness in the middle of the spoke to reduce the weight; as a side benefit, this thinner middle section also will produce a smoother riding wheel. Best of all, these spokes are available in either silver or black colors and in a huge assortment of lengths so it is much easier to get the exact combination of spokes to upgrade the wheels on a cargo bike, heavy mountain bike, e-bike, tandem, or any other heavy-duty bicycle.

Note: These spokes require a 14-Gauge or 2.0mm spoke nipple; a spoke nipple is not included with the spoke and is available separately.
