WTB CZR i23 Gravel Wheels Description:

The lightweight WTB CZR i23 Gravel Wheels are a comfort, durability, and performance upgrade for any drop-handlebar bike with an adventurous soul. Advanced carbon fiber construction retains extra material where it is needed (reinforced spoke beds and hooked bead, for example) while minimizing the material in less critical areas to shave weight and improve rider comfort. An asymmetrical rim featuring a 3mm offset to the spoke bed combined with 4D drilled spoke holes balances out the spoke tension for a wheel that is comfortable and strong with great braking and handling performance. High performance Frequency Hubs in the center of the wheels combine a very responsive 6-pawl design with smooth rolling sealed bearings for excellent efficiency and durability, and that hub is laced to the rim via 28 cold forged stainless steel Pillar 21 Wing spokes and alloy spoke nipples laced in a proven 3-cross pattern for outstanding stiffness and strength. Last but not least, these wheels accept centerlock style disc rotors and have a hooked tubeless ready rim that are compatible with virtually any all-road or gravel tire, making it very easy to outfit these wheels onto virtually any wider-tire drop handlebar bike.
