Sunlite Stem Riser Description:

The Sunlite Stem Riser is designed to raise up the handlebars on a bike equipped with a threaded style headset/fork and a quill stem. Rugged, powder coated chromoly construction adds needed stiffness and strength, and the wedge with external ridges creates a secure, twist resistant connection to the bike. Installing this on a bike will add up to approximately a max of 8.25″ of additional height to the handlebars, and there are clear markings to let you know when the stem is at the maximum safe height. Finally, three available diameters ensure that there is a version of this extender to fit most threaded headset standards.

Notes: The external diameter of the stem riser is designed to match the inside diameter of the fork’s steerer tube and/or the inside diameter of the top nut of the threaded headset. Also, due to how much this extender will raise the handlebars, longer shifter and brake cables and housing may need to be installed for proper and safe functionality of the brakes and gears.

• 25.4mm diameter extender fits within 1 1/8″ threaded forks/headsets, which are commonly found on 80’s/90’s mountain bikes and commuter/family/urban style bikes
