SRAM Rival Direct Mount Crankset Description:

The SRAM Rival Direct Mount Crankset are a lightweight yet rugged set of cranks that prove that it is possible to upgrade the looks, comfort, and performance of a bicycle all at once. Sculpted and skeletonized aluminum crank arms are joined to SRAM’s proven DUB bottom bracket spindle to provide incredible efficiency and power transfer to the rest of the drivetrain. One-piece, direct mount 2x chainrings utilize aggressively sculpted shift ramps, shifting pins, and X-Range gearing (with a 13t difference between the big and small chainrings) to provide rock solid shifting performance; additional benefits of those chainrings are less weight (compared to traditional multi-piece chainring setups), reduced noise, and the gear changes are less dramatic so a rider can more easily maintain a cadence as they are switching between the two chainrings that allows for an easier time going over climbs, down descents, railing around corners, and for blistering acceleration on the flats. Finally, a wide assortment of crank length and gearing options are available to dial the comfort and performance of the bicycle.
