Ride quality is not only a measure of total security, but the feeling of compliance when putting in long days on the trail, and to that end Roval Traverse are constructed with a refined carbon lay-up process to increase smoothness in front, with a focus on strength and stiffness in rear for ideal ride quality. A rim with the utmost level of strength cannot function well without an ideal tire to match; Traverse rims are shaped with Flat Top, a bead profile that requires 85% more force to pinch flat compared to a standard round bead, virtually eliminating snake bites. At the heart of each wheel lies the DT Swiss 350 hub, a choice that represents a proven and robust design that features a 72t ratcheting mechanism to achieve 5° of engagement for near-instant power transfer to facilitate clearing obstacles and getting technical uphill sections easier than ever before.
