The Specialized Roval Terra CLX III Gravel Wheel is designed for anyone who wants to reduce the weight of their gravel bike with zero compromises in ride quality or durability. By using an advanced carbon fiber rim construction with ashallow and wide profile, the engineers at Specialized/Roval are able to produce an incredibly lightweight, strong, and vertically compliant wheel along with the lateral stiffness needed for confident bike control. These tubeless ready rims also feature a thick hooked bead and a generous 27mm inner rim width that adds great cornering stability and impact protection for modern wide, large volume gravel tires. Further reducing weight on these wheels are Roval by ARRIS Straight Pull Composite Aero Spokes that minimize rotating weight and ensure effortless acceleration and climbing. Last but not least, at the center of the Roval Terra CLX III Gravel Wheel is a low flange centerlock disc hub stuffed with proven, smooth rolling DT Swiss 180 internals (including SINC ceramic bearings and 36T Ratchet EXP freehubs), and when all of the parts are added together the result is a wheel with the right blend of ultra-low weight, comfort, and durability that will have a rider looking forward to difficult terrain, grueling training rides, and laying down the hammer on the competition on race day.
