The Specialized Riprock 24″ Kids Mountain Bike has been designed to make it easier for kids to get out and have a fun time. A lightweight A1 butted aluminum frame cuts down on the weight to make it easier for kids to get around town and the trails, and the engineers at Specialized have given this frame a geometry that delivers predictable handling for cruising around the neighborhood and the trails. An A1 butted aluminum fork feels very solid and reduces the weight of the bike, and a small fender is attached to the crown of the fork to keep things clean. An easy to maintain MicroShift Advent mechanical drivetrain has trigger-style shifters that fit smaller hands better and delivers a broad 1 x 9 speed gear range, and powerful hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable brake levers make it easier for smaller hands to control the bike’s speed. Last but not least, a comfortable 130mm wide Bridge saddle combined with narrower and shorter cranks decrease discomfort and makes it easier for shorter legs to generate enough power to take on any terrain.
