The Specialized Ground Control Tubeless Mountain Tire has a versatile design and construction that allows this tire to excel as an everyday trail tire or even be used on race day when a bit more traction and control is needed. The fast rolling tread design has just enough spacing that the knobs can effectively self-clean themselves from mud and debris, and the unique block-on-block design enhances the grip over a wider variety of trail surfaces. The central knobs are made of a firmer T5 compound that reduces rolling resistance and provides better durability, and the outer knobs utilize a softer T7 compound to provide better braking and cornering traction. Two different tubeless ready casing constructions are available, rounding out a tire that delivers race-ready performance and at the same time has the durability and performance to allow a rider to confidently have some fun on the trails.
