The Specialized Ambush 3 Mountain Helmet delivers exceptional airflow, fit, and safety. The external shell, EPS foam, and internal composite AirCage are all molded together to improve the helmet’s impact energy dispersion and structural integrity. Deep internal channels are carved into that robust, yet lightweight structure to tie the external vents together which will pull a bunch of cooling air over the head even when the rider is crawling uphill at slow speeds. At the rear of the helmet is a BOA micro-adjustable fit system that makes dialing in the comfort and security of the helmet a breeze, and a MIPS Air Node Pro system further improves this helmets safety. Specialized’s TriFix chin strap (complete with a FIDLOCK magnetic buckle), a 4-position breakaway visor, and integrated eyewear storage round out the features of a helmet that gives a rider all of the confidence and peace of mind they need to push their limits on the trails.

• 4-position visor allows the visor to be positioned for protection from the sun and the elements while maintaining great trail vision, and will detach itself from the helmet in the event of an accident to reduce the risk of injury
• Integrated eyewear storage allows the rider to tuck their eyewear out of the way when riding in low light conditions and keeps said eyewear easily accessible
• Anti-microbial soft padding puts a comfy layer between the harder components within the helmet and the rider’s scalp, and these pads can be replaced should they become detached/go missing or if they get damaged
