Silca Ultimate TPU 700c Inner Tube Description:

The Silca Ultimate TPU 700c Inner Tube utilizes advanced TPU tube technology to produce an ultra-light and very reliable tube. TPU is a much lighter substance than the typical butyl rubber used in bicycle tube construction, and TPU can be folded down much smaller; in some cases, two folded TPU tubes can fit into the same space and weigh about the same as one rubber inner tube. What sets the Silca Ultimate TPU tubes apart from other TPU tubes is that Silca mechanically attaches a threaded aluminum valve body to the rest of the tube (instead of gluing and pressing a plastic valve into the TPU) to create a more robust connection at the valve hole, and they reinforce and weld the seams that join the tube together to reduce failures and minimize air loss through the seams. Add in removable cores so these tubes can accept valve extensions for deep dish wheels, multiple width ranges to fit road bikes, gravel bikes, and even XC mountain bikes plus a patch kit included with each tube, and you have the ultimate tube performance upgrade or a great spare for a flat repair kit so there is nothing to stop you from getting to your destination.
