A stiff and low profile R2FC sole plate with a Nexus reinforced bridge and internal nylon lasting board deliver outstanding pedaling efficiency and stability, and the elongated cleat mounting holes give more adjustability to the cleat position to allow the user to dial in foot comfort and optimize the biomechanics of their lower body for maximum power production. On top of that base is a Micro Matrix and Kevlar upper with open-cell threading that will envelope the foot in a very breezy, comforting, and secure embrace. The combination of a Firmor X ankle strap system, dual NUUN dials, and a tool-free heel adjustment system really locks the foot into place and does it without putting undue pressure or hotspots onto the foot. Replaceable rubber heel pads, heel security systems, and dials make it easier to replace damaged or worn out parts and extend the shoes useful life.
