The Sidi Genius X Wyve Road Shoes take one of Sidi’s most iconic road shoes and introduces advanced materials and construction to take the performance up a notch. In the upper, a very breathable, lightweight, and supple Wyve-engineered fabric is reinforced with abrasion resistant TPU panels to provide outstanding comfort, durability, and foot security. This amazing upper is controlled via the adjustable and aerodynamic NUUN 001C dial/cable system with an anatomical instep strap which makes it very easy to create a personalized fit with excellent security while minimizing pressure and hotspots on the top of the foot. An external heel cup design at the rear of the shoe holds its shape under pressure and prevents slippage for increased stability around the heel. Underneath everything is a R3CC carbon composite sole that has enough stiffness to maintain excellent pedaling efficiency while having just enough give to provide elevated comfort on long rides; this sole also has elongated mounting slots for an easier time positioning 3-bolt clipless pedal cleats for optimal biomechanics, comfort, and power transmission. Finally, the dials and cables as well as the heel pad are replaceable to extend the useful life of these shoes.
