Shimano SP40 Aluminum Step Down Shift Cable Ferrule Description:

The Shimano SP40 Aluminum Step Down Shift Cable Ferrule is designed to protect the end of a 4mm shift cable housing. The aluminum construction will resist cracking, and the step down section helps this ferrule fit into small frame cable stops. This ferrule also has some sealing to reduce the chance of grime and moisture from getting inside of the shift cable housing.
