The Shimano SM-RT56 6-bolt disc brake rotors are designed to provide consistent and quiet braking power for gravel, road, and urban bikes, and can even be used for the occasional ride around the mountain bike trails. A drilled braking tract sheds grit and grime as well as gasses generated during braking from the disc pads and the rotor surface, ensuring a clean braking surface for consistent, powerful braking and less noise. Another advantage of the holes is better cooling during heavy braking for reduced risk of warping of these stainless steel rotors so they will deliver reliable all-weather performance for a long time.
