Shimano S700 Alfine Oil Description:

The Shimano S700 Alfine Oil is a thin, mineral oil based lubricant that was specifically formulated for the unique performance demands of Shimano’s Alfine 11-speed internally geared hubs. Regular flushing and replacement of the hub oil will ensure a smoother operation and a longer lasting hub. The 50mL size is good for two services, while the 1 liter size is great for shop use and/or for maintaining a fleet of bikes equipped with Alfine 11-speed internally geared hubs.

Features:

• Mineral oil based lubricant flows easily within the hub shell, reduces friction between moving parts, and will improve the condition of seals to prevent leaks
• Light weight formulation allows the gears to properly engage with one another, resulting in positive and smooth shifting performance
• Available in either a 50mL size which is enough for two hub refills or a larger 1 liter size for regularly servicing a larger number of Alfine 11-speed internally geared hubs
