Shimano PD-T8000/EH500 Pedal Pins Description:

The Shimano PD-T8000/EH500 Pedal Pins are a factory replacement pin set that can be used to replace damaged or missing pedal pins, and these pins will improve traction on the flat pedal side of Shimano PD-T8000 or PD-EH500 dual sided pedals. Two different pin lengths are available to fine tune the levels of grip (short for a slightly less aggressive grip, long for the most traction possible) and each pack has 8 pins with blue thread lock applied to reduce the chances of the pins falling out mid ride.

Features:

• Available in two lengths to fine tune the levels of traction on the flat side of the pedal
• Short pins are 5mm in length to provide adequate grip while being gentler on the soles of shoes and a riders shin should the foot slip off the pedal; ideal for urban riding and less aggressive riding styles
• Long pins are 7mm in length and offer improved traction when riding over rough and technical terrain; will increase wear on the bottom of shoes especially those with soft rubber soles
• Includes 8 pins, which is enough for one pedal if replacing all of the pins; 2 separate kits are needed to replace all of the pins in both pedals
• Thread lock is pre-applied to reduce chances of pins loosening up and falling out
• Compatible with Shimano XT PD-T8000 and Shimano PD-EH500 dual-sided pedals that have a platform on one side and an SPD clipless mechanism on the other side
