The Shimano Deore XT M8200 Wheel is a lightweight and versatile wheelset that is designed to tackle a wide variety of riding styles and trail conditions. These wheels have a wide width tubeless ready alloy rim with a shallow depth asymmetrical profile that smooths out the ride, evens out spoke tension so the wheels stay truer longer, and provide excellent support for large volume mountain bike tires. In the middle, thru axle hubs roll on adjustable and serviceable sealed cartridge bearings, and the rear freehub rapidly engages for efficient acceleration and easier uphill climbs. Connecting everything together are butted stainless steel spokes that reduce rotating weight and help to smooth out the ride to help the rider conserve their energy for the final push. Put everything together and the result is a durable and composed wheel that will give the rider the confidence to attack the trail harder than ever before.

• Rear freehub has a 3.5-degree engagement angle for rapid hub engagement when tackling technical terrain and for accelerating away from corners and the starting line
• Centerlock disc rotor interface on the hubs creates a secure rotor attachment and reduces the weight of the wheels
• Adjustable preload enables the rider/mechanic to fine tune the tension on the hub bearings for optimal performance and longer life
