RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR Gravel Suspension Fork Description:

The lightweight RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR Gravel Suspension Fork is designed to enhance the comfort and control of a bike especially when tackling mixed terrain bike routes that may include broken pavement and rough off-road trails. A tapered steerer tube, a machined and forged hollow crown, 30mm straight wall upper tubes, and a 12mm thru-axle produce a stiff and strong chassis that keeps everything aligned for better suspension performance and excellent steering precision. Inside, a Solo Air spring provides great support throughout the suspension travel and is very responsive over small bumps and impacts, while a 2-position Charger Race Day 2 damper can either be left wide open for comfort or fully locked for when it is time to attack a climb or launch a blistering sprint. The damper also has an external rebound adjustment so the shocks open setting performance can be dialed in to suit the rider’s preferences. Finally, the fork is filled ultra-high performance Maxima Plush suspension lube, high performance bushings, and low-friction wiper seals to ensure these lightweight forks have the durability and performance to enable a rider to push their capabilities to new heights.

Features:

• 1 1/8″ – 1.5″ tapered steerer tube and a forged and externally machined hollow crown create a very strong and stiff junction between the rest of the fork and the bike frame
• 30mm straight wall aluminum upper tubes provide additional steering precision, and are coated in a hard Fast Black finish that greatly reduces stiction for a faster and smoother suspension action
• 2-position (fully open or closed) Charger Race Day 2 Damper is also equipped with external rebound damping adjustments to optimize the overall performance of the fork
• Solo Air spring has been tuned for short travel to provide exceptional support throughout the travel range
• Improved low friction wiper seals and bushing design provides an effective barrier to prevent grime from getting into the fork and ensures better performance within regular service intervals
• Filled with Maxima Plush Dynamic Suspension Lube which effectively stays in contact with moving parts to reduce friction and is formulated to eliminate aeration (foaming up) for enhanced suspension performance
