POC Amidal MIPS Helmet Description:

The POC Amidal MIPS Helmet utilizes cutting edge construction and modelling techniques to create a lightweight, streamlined helmet. A polycarbonate shell is molded to EPS foam, with the rear of the helmet receiving extra reinforcements to produce a very durable and structurally stable helmet with excellent protection especially for the rear of the head. The engineers at POC then use CFD analysis to carve sleek vents within the shell, and extensive interior channeling ties the front vents with the distinctive rear ports to pull cooling airflow over the riders head no matter how fast or how slow the ride is going. A MIPS Air Node is called on to reduce torsional forces on the riders head and neck in the event of a crash, and this extra safety is integrated so well within the inner structure that there is no impact on comfort or airflow. Last but not least, POC’s 360° adjustable fit retention system and highly adjustable chin strap dial in the fit and comfort, ensuring the sleek and lightweight POC Amidal MIPS Helmet feels like there is nothing on the rider’s head.
