PNW Components Plant Based Water Bottle Description:
The PNW Components Plant Based Water Bottle is a sustainably produced option for carrying fluids on your bike. Using material that is the by-product of wheat processing, PNW and their pals at MountainFlow craft a BPA-free water bottle that is easy to squeeze and durable enough to be washed within a dishwasher. Finally, this bottle has a large opening that makes it easy to fill the bottle with fluids and supplements and a free flowing push-pull valve delivers the contents of the bottle on demand while preventing drips when the valve is closed.
Note: The lighter color of this plant-based bottle will show flecks of wheat fibers in the material. This is normal, and does not affect the performance or durability of the bottle.
Features:
- Sustainably manufactured waterbottle is BPA-free and easily squeezed to rapidly dispense fluids as needed
- 70% of the material used in construction of the water bottle is derived from left-over byproduct of wheat processing, eliminating the need to burn the left over straw (and reducing the pollution from this process) in addition to reducing reliance on virgin plastic production
- Large bottle opening enables easy loading of powdered drink mixes, fluids, and ice cubes and facilitates easier cleaning of the bottle
- Push/Pull bite valve is soft to the touch and opens and closes effortlessly
- Best washed by hand, but can be put into the dishwasher on the top rack and with a lower heat wash setting
