Motorex Copper Paste Description:

The Motorex Copper Paste is an advanced grease that ensures metal threaded components and fasteners do not get stuck or seize up in whatever they are getting installed into. The addition of copper particles in the paraffinic base oils creates a protective layer between two surfaces, and this grease is incredibly resistant to frictional corrosion, oxidation, and will even work effectively in extreme temperatures between from –40 °C (-40° F) to temperatures well above 280 °C (536° F). If you are building up a titanium bicycle or plan on using titanium parts, this grease ensures that the installation process is easy and future maintenance can be done without resorting to drastic measures to get the parts apart from one another.

Features:

• Copper based fitting grease creates a protective layer between two differing metal surfaces (such as putting an alloy bottom bracket cup into a titanium bicycle frame) that resists oxidation, salt water, and the buildup of corrosion
• Also resists frictional corrosion and inhibits the transference of ion’s between different metals over time, which will prevent two different materials from becoming chemically welded together
• Prevents nuts from jamming and galling of screw surfaces
• Grease does not contain graphite, molybdenum disulphide, or lead, creating a safer formula for the environment and making it safer to handle
