Giant TCR Advanced Pro Frameset Description:

The Giant TCR Advanced Pro Frameset is a well-rounded platform that has been engineered and developed to provide excellent handling, incredible pedaling efficiency, and a sublime ride quality. Giant bicycles have the unique ability to manufacture their own composite materials out of raw carbon fiber, and they took this ability and crafted a lighter and more aerodynamic frame with improved stiffness in key areas (vs. previous TCR Advanced frames) which delivers an incredibly efficient bike with explosive acceleration. Those improved aerodynamics are achieved thanks to truncated elliptical tube shapes developed through computational fluid dynamic modeling and through the use of internally routed derailleur cables and brake hoses. While this bike is torsionally and laterally very stiff, the engineers have built in plenty of vertical compliance for comfort, and the frame and fork have clearance for up to 700c x 33mm wide tires so this rocket of a bike also provides enough comfort to make grueling training rides and other long distance endeavors more enjoyable.

Note: This frameset requires the use of a stem or an integrated handlebar/stem combo that is designed specifically for Giant’s Overdrive Aero D-Shaped 1-1/4″ Steerer Tube.

• Advanced SL fork is entirely made out of carbon fiber and features a D-shaped fork steerer tube which has a more secure interface with compatible stems and provides additional room along the front edge for the internal cable routing
• Oversized bottom bracket region (dubbed the PowerCore) with a fully integrated 86mm wide bottom bracket design ensures the frame will not flex and will deliver more of the riders power to the rear wheel
• Asymmetric chainstay design further aids in power transfer and helps to plant the rear wheel during high speed corners
• Frameset includes headset bearings, seatpost, and thru axles
• Compatible with mechanical or electronic drivetrains, and the front braze on derailleur mount can be removed so this frame can be set up with either a 1x or 2x crankset/drivetrain
