Garmin Rally RK210 Power Meter Pedals Description:
The Garmin Rally RK210 Power Meter Pedals are designed to provide incredibly accurate data to many devices within the Garmin ecosystem while also offering a high performance pedal without compromises. Tested to the extreme, these dual sensing power meter pedals collect inputs from both pedals to compute incredibly accurate data (within a +/- 1% variance). Additionally, these pedals are designed to be very reliable and provide great stability for the feet and legs thanks in part to the large platform carbon fiber pedal body that accepts easy-to-find Look Keo cleats.
Several metrics can be tracked with these pedals, including left/right balance (to compare which leg is working harder), power phase (to identify where power is being produced within the pedal stroke), platform center offset (to ensure optimal cleat positioning for comfort and power by tracking where pressure is applied on the pedal surface), seated vs. standing (so you can gauge which position is more effective) and many others. To top things off, these pedals feature a transferable design that makes it possible to use these power meter equipped spindles with Garmin XC210 Shimano SPD mountain bike specific pedal bodies or Garmin RS210 Shimano SPD-SL road bike specific pedal bodies (the other pedal bodies are available separately), giving the rider the ultimate flexibility to set up their bike any way they want to in their pursuit of comfort, precision, and performance.
Features:
- Pedal-based power meters install like any other pedals and can be quickly transferred between bikes
- Removable spindle that contains the power sensing hardware allows these pedals to be switched to an offroad pedal design by removing the road pedal body and installing the Rally™ XC210 off-road pedal bodies (pedal bodies are sold separately)
- Information is transmitted from both pedal spindles, including data on left/right leg power balance, seated versus standing metrics, where the power is applied to the pedal surface (great for identifying tweaks to the cleat positioning on the shoe for better power and comfort) and identifying where power is being produced within a pedal stroke
- Optimized strain gauge and gyroscope design/construction make these power meters highly responsive and +/- 1% accurate
- Force data provides insight into the relationship between power and cadence and its impact on overall performance when paired with compatible Garmin devices
- Large carbon fiber platform provides excellent stability and power transmission while reducing the overall pedal weight
- Compatible with cranksets equipped with oval chainrings
- Pedal IQ™ smart calibration feature alerts you when you need to calibrate based on several factors, including changes in temperature since your last calibration, to ensure the most accurate information is being transmitted
- Rechargeable pedals offer up to 90 hours of ride time on fully charged batteries, have a travel mode that puts the pedals to sleep to conserve battery life during transport, and has a quick charging mode that provides up to 12 hours of ride time with just 15 minutes of charging
- Edge® cycling computer compatibility and the Garmin Connect™ app makes software updates and data uploads a breeze
