Fizik Ferox 2 Carbon Gravel/XC MTB Shoes have been refined for improved comfort, pedaling efficiency, and security. The engineers at Fizik revamped the last to create a more natural fit resulting in enhanced comfort and support during high-intensity efforts. A tear resistant polyurethane upper is laminated with translucent mesh panels to produce a stretch resistant and durable upper with outstanding airflow. Dialing in a custom fit is a combination of a wide hook & loop instep strap and a Li2 Boa Fit System that allows these shoes to adapt to a wide variety of foot shapes. Underneath, a wide and stiff carbon fiber outsole provides a powerful and stable connection to the pedals, and grippy rubber tread is bonded to the outsole to ensure a stable interface with the pedal surface and provide great traction when moving around off the bike. Finally, long cleat mounting slots make it easier for the rider to find the perfect sweet spot for the cleat to give the rider every comfort and power advantage that they could ask for from their shoes.
