ENVE AR40 Foundation Series All-Road Disc Brake Wheel Description:

The ENVE AR40 Foundation Series All-Road Disc Brake Wheel leverages all of Enve’s composite and wheel building know-how to deliver a versatile, high performance wheel with a very attractive price tag. Time spent in the Mercedes Benz Formula One wind tunnel helped Enve’s engineers develop a 40mm deep rim with great aerodynamics and balanced performance. Molded spoke holes and 3.6mm wide hookless sidewalls are used in the construction of the carbon fiber rims to improve the durability of the wheel. In the center of the wheel is an Enve Foundation Road Innerdrive hub with stiff axles and sealed bearings for reduced maintenance and great performance, and the rear hub uses two oversized rachet rings that are inboard and over the bearings for positively engaging forward propulsion and rock solid durability. Add in proven Sapim CX-Ray spokes tie the rim to the hubs, and the result is a budget friendly wheel with excellent performance and durability that is ready to take a rider wherever they want to go.
