DT Swiss RWS Plug-In Thru Axle Description:

The DT Swiss RWS Plug-In Thru Axle is a lightweight thru axle system that will quickly secure a wheel within the bike. Full alloy construction produces a stiff and strong thru axle that is also quite light, and the lever has a ratcheting design that makes it very easy to position the lever for more clamping torque and to leave it in an ideal position after tightening. Finally, that ratcheting lever can be removed from the thru axle after tightening the wheel for a cleaner appearance, less weight, and improved wheel security.

• Removable lever has a 6mm hex key built in, and the axle has a matching 6mm interface that can be tightened with either the lever or a standard 6mm hex key
• Removing the ratcheting lever saves approximately 30g per axle
