The Castelli UPF Long Sleeve Jersey has been designed to provide excellent protection against harmful UV rays and to help keep a rider cool and comfortable during hot mid-summer bike rides. The recycled woven fabric offers a UPF rating of 50+ for all day protection from the sun; in order to prevent overheating the fabric on the front torso panel has been perforated slightly to improve breathability. This jersey takes this advanced fabric and forms it into an ergonomic fit that lays on the skin to optimize the performance and comfort of the fabrics and to provide better aerodynamics, and a taller collar on the rear of the neck and long sleeves terminating with a raw edge on the wrist cuffs offer more coverage without restricting a riders movements. Other thoughtful touches like large rear pockets for storage and a full length zipper for better climate control combined with the overall construction and design of this jersey will have you looking forward to heading out even when the sun is pounding down.
