Rigorous testing and computational flow dynamic analysis result in the use of ribbed fabric on the riders shoulders and sleeves, minimal seams, and extra-long legs with openings that lay flat on the riders thigh’s that combine to create a noticeable reduction in aerodynamic drag that will shave off precious seconds during races and make long distance training rides/events much easier to finish. All fabrics onboard not only contribute to improved aerodynamics, they are also lightweight, very breathable, and wick moisture from a riders skin so they will stay cool and comfortable. Inside, Castelli’s seamless Progetto X2 Air Chamois comfortably hugs the body, provides all day support, and fights off numbness and chaffing. Finally, thoughtful touches like a long zipper that allows the rider to adjust the airflow into the skin suit for comfort plus a large mesh race number pocket that reduces flapping in the wind and lets race marshals and fellow competitors clearly read the number add up to produce a speed suit that will have a rider feeling, looking, and performing at their best on race day.
