Cane Creek VALT Linear Rate Coil Spring Description:

Your spring’s quality has a direct impact on the performance of your shock. VALT springs offer a significant weight reduction over standard steel springs so you can enjoy the benefits of a coil shock without the extra weight. Best of all, thanks to a larger inner diameter this spring will fit Cane Creek shocks and many other manufacturer’s rear shocks on the market.

Note: The stroke length of these springs needs to be at least the same length of the shock stroke and ideally at least 0.08″/2mm longer than the stroke length of the rear shock; as an example, if the rear shock has a stroke length of 2.17″/55mm, then a spring should have a stroke length of 2.25″/57mm for optimal shock fitment and performance.

• Linear springs have a spring rate that increases in a linearly fashion to deliver the buttery smooth and ground hugging traction that coil springs are known to provide; well suited for bike frames with a significant amount of progression/ramp-up built into the suspension design and/or for bike frames that were designed to use a coil sprung rear shock

• Fits all Cane Creek Coil Shocks as well as: DVO, Ohlins, Manitou, Marzocchi, XFusion, MRP, BOS, Push, and DSP. Fox Racing coil shocks will also pair with the VALT springs but require a spring clip adapter, use DC-8200. Rock Shox fitment is not compatible
