The Birzman clam is a modern cutting edge design and an ideal tool for fast and accurate disc brake pad spacing/alignment adjustment. Simply slide it over the disc and into the caliper to create a perfect aligned pad spacing, tighten the caliper down in the corrected position, then remove the tool and spin away.
