The Assos Mille GT Shell Jacket is a very versatile outer layer that will provide protection from wet and windy conditions in any season. Windproof Hurricane fabric exhibits excellent stretch and utilizes an ECO DWR treatment so water will just bead off, and this fabric breaths well enough that internal moisture is kept in check even during summertime rain storms. This fabric is then formed into a shell with a tailored fit that will eliminate excess material so this shell can be stashed easily in a pocket and there is less material that can flap in the wind but there is still enough room and stretch in the fabric that this shell can fit over a winter jacket to add even more protection from nasty winter conditions. The extended collar and rear hem protect your neck and backside from cold air and road spray, and ultra-elastic wrist cuff inserts hug the wrists to prevent the wet stuff from traveling up the arms. Finally, reflective detailing improves visibility in overcast and low-light conditions, and a full length zipper makes for very fast wardrobe changes so any weather encountered on a ride will not derail the fun times.
